    Announcing the 2014 Quincy Area Chapter of SHRM Board of Directors

    President
    Rebecca Hedrick, PHR

    Rebecca is the Human Resources Coordinator with Klingner & Associates, P.C. in Quincy. She obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Business from Missouri State University in 1992, and has been involved in the benefits and human resources field since 1994. She has been an active member of SHRM since 2005, and obtained her PHR designation in 2009.

    Vice President
    Jerry Koering

    Jerry is a Partner at Group Benefit Partners in Fort Madison, IA. He obtained his Bachlor’s degree from Luther College in 2004. He started his carreer in the employee benefit insurance industry with MetLife in Denver, CO in 2005 as a regional sales representative. In 2009 he started Group Benefit Partners, an independent insurance agency that specializes in working with employer groups to setup and manage their employee benefit offerings, in Fort Madison, IA. The Vice President shall perform the functions of the President in his or her absence. If the President is unable to complete the full term of office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the responsibilities of President. The Vice President and other officers shall approve new members to the Chapter.

    Secretary
    Ashley Mayfield

    Ashley is a Senior Certified Recruiter with Adecco Employment Services in Quincy. In 2006 she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a minor in Business. She then resided in Chicago for 2½ years, employed in textile sales with a large design firm at the Merchandise Mart downtown. Ashley relocated to Quincy in 2008 and has now been with Adecco Employment Services for over 5 years. She is currently preparing to obtain her PHR Certification and became a Quincy Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassador in 2010. The Secretary shall take minutes of all meetings, distribute them prior to the following regular meeting for approval of the members present at the meeting, and report on any correspondence of the Chapter. The Secretary and other officers shall approve new members to the Chapter.

    Treasurer
    Emily Tait

    Senior Manager of Global Compensation for Gardner Denver. She received her Bachelors of Accountancy in May, 2004 and her Masters of Accountancy in May, 2005 from Western Illinois University. She is a Certified Compensation Professional and also a Global Remuneration Professional. Emily is involved in Quincy Service League and Quincy Young Professionals. She is also a Division Leader for the Adams County United Way. Prior to moving to Quincy, she was employed by Accenture in Chicago as a Financial Specialist. The Treasurer shall bill members for dues and meals, collect all monies due the Chapter, issue checks to pay Chapter bills, and make bank deposits as income is secured. A Treasurer's report shall be made at each regular meeting for the approval of members present. The Treasurer and other officers shall approve new members to the Chapter.

    Programs Director
    JoEllen Randall

    The Programs Director shall serve as the chair of the Program Committee. He/she shall be responsible for scheduling the programs and events for the regular and special meetings with the help of the Program committee. He/she will be responsible for making sure the presenters are confirmed, any special needs of the presenter are known to the Secretary and/or the contact at the meeting location. He/she shall have such other powers and perform such other duties as the Board of Directors may determine.

    Social Media Director
    Jennifer Fulton, SPHR

    Jennifer is the Human Resources Specialist for Hannibal Regional Healthcare System in Hannibal MO. She obtained her Bachelors Degree in Business Administration in December 2006 and Masters Degree in Business Administration in May 2008, both from Columbia College. She has been an active member of SHRM since 2008 and obtained her SPHR designation in 2013. Responsibilities of the social media director are to serve as the primary servicer of the chapter website and handle all social media aspects of the chapter.
