    An HR audit is really a matter of taking the time out of busy schedules to take an intensely objective look at the company's HR policies and practices. The objective review of the company's current state can help evaluate whether or not specific practice areas are adequate, compliant and/or effective. The results obtained from this focused and intense review can provide decision makers with the information necessary to decide what policies or practices need to be revised and/or improved.

    Our presenter Donna Rogers is an instructor of management at UIS and owner of Rogers HR Consulting. She has a Masters in Human Resources Development from UIUC, a Bachelor’s in Public Relations from ISU.  Her firm is an HRCI Pre-Approved Provider and Small Business of the Year awardee.  She earned the HR Professional of the Year and Lifetime Achievement Award from CIC-SHRM.  She previously taught at Robert Morris College and has guest lectured at Benedictine University.  She serves as the North Central Region - Membership Advisory Committee Representative and is the Past Director for the Illinois State Council of SHRM.
