    • Develop creative recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates to meet customer demands.

    • Source, screen, and identify qualified candidates for temporary, temporary to hire, or direct hire opportunities.

    • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.


    • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.

    • Minimum 2 years customer service experience in a fast-paced environment; or 1-3 years of recruiting experience in a less complex environment.

    • Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and customer service skills required.

    • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) is also required.

    • Capable of handling problem resolution in a calm and clear manner.

    • Ability to build and maintain strong customer and client relationships and networks.

    • Must have the ability to learn new software and navigate the internet with ease.

    Title: Branch Manager


    Adecco is currently seeking energetic individuals to join our team as a Branch Manager in Quincy, IL.  This is a full time - direct hire job opportunity.  As a Branch Manager you will plan, direct, and control all phases of successful operation within the branch.  In this position you will assist with the preparation and achievement of the annual business plan.  You will work to develop staff members so that everyone is fully trained and utilized to the optimum level.     Responsibilities for this Branch Manager job include:

    • Manage the process of recruiting and hiring, branch sales, and customer service
    • Coach all staff members in sales and customer service techniques
    • Provide development and career growth opportunity for branch staff
    • Identify, pursue, and develop new accounts through awareness of local market(s), competitor activities and community growth plans.  Establish rapport and continually develop current accounts with key clients.  May assist Account Executives with newly developed clients
    • Schedule and conduct regular staff meetings. Audit and monitor the activities of the sales and customer staff to ensure the branch are operating efficiently. Conduct performance evaluations and prepare developmental plans for branch staff in a timely manner
    • Monitor the branch’s workers compensation and unemployment claims to minimize the Branch’s exposure and resulting expenses.  Ensure that all federal, state, local notices and licenses are current and posted
    • Develop and implement branch revenue and expense forecasts.  Establish a budget and assist with the development of short- and long-range growth plans for the branch
    • Survey clients regarding perception of service.  Emphasize quality and customer service.  Identify opportunities for further growth of existing accounts
    • Utilize corporate sponsored direct mail, advertising, and promotional activities to increase knowledge of Adecco in the local market. Identify and develop local opportunities for increased exposure, (such as, clubs and job fairs).  Negotiate contracts with local advertising sources
    • Develop and maintain knowledge of economic trends and changes affecting local businesses.  Maintain records of competitors in the area that display their respective shares of the market, locations, services, and benefits offered
    • Set and monitor pay and bill rates based on skill categories.  Ensure proper credit references are obtained and client credit limits are established according to guidelines.  Perform collection of all outstanding accounts receivable
    • Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.  Able to handle multiple problems simultaneously
    • Set own priorities, schedule day’s events, make cold calls, prepare and give formal presentations
    • Must be able to travel extensively within territory with occasional travel in the region and division
    • Able to continuously improve processes and procedures


    • Bachelor’s degree in related field or 6 of full-time work experience
    • 2 years of direct sales experience with a proven track record measured by increased responsibilities. Sales experience within a personnel service organization is preferred
    • 1 year of supervisory / management experience of an administrative, clerical or customer service-oriented staff
    • Able to communicate effectively and clearly in writing and orally, both in one-on-one and in group presentation situations.  Able to interact and communicate with all levels of staff and management
    • Must have working knowledge of labor and employment laws
    • Must have excellent problem solving, organizational, interpersonal, and motivational skills

    Facility Human Resources Assistant
    Consolidated Machine & Welding

    Consolidated Machine and Welding, located in Hannibal, MO is looking for a Facility HR Assistant.  The Facility HR Assistant is responsible for assisting with the recruitment, hiring and new hire onboarding process. Responsibilities will include attending job fairs, posting job openings, gathering information on new applicants, contacting references, and informing employees of their hiring status. The HR Assistant is also responsible for preparing time for payroll, administering HR requirements at the facility from the Corporate Office, acting as the facility HR liaison between the Corporate office and the manufacturing facility.

    Essential Functions

    1. Recruitment / New Hire Process:
      1. Participating in recruitment efforts
      2. Posting job ads, organizing and screening resumes and applications
      3. Scheduling job interviews and assisting with the interview process
      4. Assisting with the onboarding process
      5. Oversee the completion of compensation documentation and the benefit enrollment process
      6. Orienting new employees to the organization (logins, workstation, email etc.)
      7. Serving as point person for all new employee questions
    2. Payroll and Benefits Administration
      1.  Compile and review time for processing payroll (ensuring vacation and sick time are tracked in the payroll system.
      2. Track Attendance Point System
    3. Facility HR Liaison
      1. Maintain HR databases as required or needed
      2. Update and maintain employment status’ and similar records
      3. Complete termination paperwork and conduct Exit Interviews
      4. Act as HR liaison between facility and corporate office on employee relations issues and corporate initiatives.
    4. Facility HR Support tasks
      1. Administer Uniform process
      2. Assist Corporate Safety Department with safety initiatives.
