    HR People & Culture Generalist

    The People & Culture Generalist in collaboration with the department leader and team, performs complex human resources duties and coordinates and leads projects in the following functional areas: employee relations, compliance, performance management, policy implementation, recruitment/onboarding, benefits administration, and employment law.

     Lead projects and assignments with a high degree of human resource skill and expertise including identifying opportunities to improve processes, performing detailed studies and analyses and designing innovative solutions.  Partner with the People & Culture Director to lead performance process by providing guidance and support to employees and leaders. Consult with employees and leadership on employee relations matters; investigate complex issues, develop effective solutions and provide sound coaching and counseling.
     Develop, manage and implement employee policies, procedures and training to ensure organization is in compliance. Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to human resources including federal, state and local laws, EEO, FLSA FMLA, ADA and USSERA.
     Review and process a variety of personnel actions; review actions for conformance to law, policies, and standard procedures; identifies discrepancies and works with requesting departments to resolve problems or determine appropriate procedures; provides information and interpretation of policies to applicants, employees and leaders.
     Partner with other People and Culture colleagues to ensure cross-functional expertise and teamwork. Examples include recruitment, onboarding, benefits, payroll and employee development.
     Conduct regular compensation and classification reviews; perform job analyses; establish job requirements and standards; develop job descriptions and determine the appropriate classification and placement of jobs.
     Perform benefit and compensation analysis, audits, and reports for benefits to meet the needs of the workforce and organization and to ensure accurate administration.
     Administer all retirement and profit-sharing plans.
     Work closely with the accounting and finance department for quarterly and year end audits (i.e. deferred compensation audits, pension plan audits, etc.)
     Analyze and implement HRIS systems and upgrades to ensure functionality meets the needs of the organization and key stakeholders are able to effectively work within the system.
     Develop communication and training materials to support People and Culture initiatives, programs and messages.

     Excellent interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills. Must be an effective team player.  5+ years progressive human resources management generalist experience.
     Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent related work experience.
     Advanced computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, applicant tracking and HRIS systems.
     High level of integrity, ethics, and judgment.
     Supervisory experience preferred.
     Professional certification (PHR/SPHR and/or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP) strongly preferred.

    HR Secretary

    This position is responsible for providing first impression of Blessing Health System when they greet our customers either in person or on the phone. They will assist with performing the daily HR processing to support the Human Resources department.

    The qualified individual must have high regard for excellent customer service, high level interpersonal skills and be able to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documents. This position serves as a resource and liaison for applicants, employees & leaders with HR process inquiries. This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Hospital.     JOB QUALIFICATIONS Education/Training/Experience:

    POSITION DUTIES: Greeting Customers, in person and via phone. Processing incoming mail Maintain calendars (setting appointments & coordinating meetings) Work with new hires to ensure all required paperwork is completed and accounted for. Create and maintain Employee record in electronic record keeping system. Researching ,answering, and following up on various types of questions from managers and employees both in person and by phone. Coordinate Birthday Card distribution Assist with Benefit Open Enrollment tasks. Coordinate with Purchasing department on mailing distributions. Ordering supplies. Coordinate Bereavement Process. Any other duties as requested.
