David G. Penn Bio:

David G. Penn is a partner SRNM and specializes in the areas of education
law, employment law, and defense litigation. He also advises many of the firm's
clients regarding employment matters and litigation arising from employment
relationships. He handles employment discrimination litigation in Federal and
State courts. He advises client’s in handling of personnel discipline, hiring, and
termination issues. In addition, David is the Chairman of the firm’s Education
Law Group which advises and handles matters as part of the firm's representation
of public school systems, colleges and community colleges in west-central

Illinois. Prior to joining SRNM in 1999, David was an Assistant State's Attorney
with the Sangamon County State's Attorney.
David also takes pride in civic involvement. He is currently a member of
the Boards of Directors for the local YMCA and Sunset Home. He has previously
served on boards for the Adams County United Way and Cheerful Home. He is
currently a member of the Illinois Supreme Court Minimum Continuing Legal
Education Committee.
