    HR Secretary

    This position is responsible for providing first impression of Blessing Health System when they greet our customers either in person or on the phone. They will assist with performing the daily HR processing to support the Human Resources department.

    The qualified individual must have high regard for excellent customer service, high level interpersonal skills and be able to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documents. This position serves as a resource and liaison for applicants, employees & leaders with HR process inquiries.     JOB QUALIFICATIONS Education/Training/Experience:

    REQUIRED: High school graduate or equivalent. Proficiency in all Microsoft office application’s and Outlook email application

    PREFERRED: Two years Clerical Experience License/Certifications/Special Requirements: N/A Pay Status: Non-Exempt Hourly

    POSITION DUTIES: Greeting Customers, in person and via phone. Processing incoming mail Maintain calendars (setting appointments & coordinating meetings) Work with new hires to ensure all required paperwork is completed and accounted for. Create and maintain Employee record in electronic record keeping system. Researching ,answering, and following up on various types of questions from managers and employees both in person and by phone. Coordinate Birthday Card distribution Assist with Benefit Open Enrollment tasks. Coordinate with Purchasing department on mailing distributions. Ordering supplies. Coordinate Bereavement Process. Any other duties as requested.

    • This position is responsible for sourcing candidates through various channels, planning interview and selection procedures, hosting and participating in career events.

      (Talent Acquisition Specialist) position is responsible for creating a strong talent pipeline for Blessing’s current and future hiring needs. With the evolvement of Blessing, will need to develop long - term recruiting strategy and nurture trusting relationships with potential hires while marketing Blessing as the Employer of Choice.

    Salary Range: $55,000 to $70,000

    Essential Functions

    *Coordinates the recruiting, interviewing and hiring processes.

    *Administer corporate policies and procedures. 

    *Knowledge of employment law and the resources necessary to keep current with the changes in legislation.

    *Support coordination of benefits & corporate programs.

    *Assists the HR SR Generalist with conducting employee relations investigations, performance reviews, organizational management, training, consulting with management and coordinating resolution of approved actions.

    *Ensures processing of locations payroll changes, benefits, absences and job history.

    *Other assigned duties or projects.

    Minimum Required Qualifications

    *Bachelor’s degree in Human resources or related field is required.

    *Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. 

    *Proficient knowledge in the application of Microsoft Office.

    *Must have a working knowledge of Workers Compensation, FMLA and general state employment laws.

    *Excellent written and verbal communications skills are essential.

    *Able to travel to 30% of the time.
